Torsion springs

Torsion spring is a screw-shaped cylindrical spring that has at least one and half of active coil. It is able to take up external forces acting in its levels perpendicular to the winding axis, resulting in torque (rolling or unrolling). While in use, wire of the torsion spring is subject to bending stress.

Our company manufactures the following torsion springs:

• shapes with 2D and 3D bends
• simple shapes
• simple shapes combined with elements of compression, extension and shaped springs
• any number of active coils

Torsion springs are made of wires of a cylindrical cross-section from cd=0.40 mm up to cd=2.50 mm (cd=wire diameter).

The use of CNC technology for production of torsion springs allows us to manufacture standardized torsion springs including special sorting following 100% measuring of required parameters of the whole production batch.
